Happenings...

We've had a very busy couple of weeks! Lily and I have tagged along with Shandy as he was doing some continuing ed workshops at BSU & the Science Museum. Highlights of our two weeks "abroad" included visiting friends and family, shopping, a little extra family time, and locking Lily in my parents' car and having a policeman break a window to get her out (ok, that was a lowlight...we're awaiting the bill :(. )

We're glad to be "home" for awhile, and cannot believe that summer is winding down! It's gone way too fast, and we feel like we've got so much more to do on the house. Speaking of which, things are coming along at a, well, steady pace. The tapers are almost done, which means we'll be painting soon. And Shandy is hard at work on the siding (pictures to follow soon!). Maybe it's the hot, sweaty weather, maybe it's the press for time we're feeling, or maybe it's just the reality that building a house is a big job! Overall, we're truly thankful that we're able to do it, that we've had the whole summer to work at it, and that -eventually- we'll have a place to call our own. You're all invited over for supper when that happens! While you wait, here are some pictures of Lily, who really doesn't care where she lives, as long as she has her blankie!

She may just be a farm girl yet!
