Party!

We had a great Thanksgiving....it always seems that our holidays get stretched to entire weekends, instead of just days...we love it! We were able to spend time with both our families. It was great! And we can't wait til Christmas...only 24 days! And only 18 days til Christmas vacation starts...oh, the life of having a teacher schedule....

On Saturday, we celebrated Lily's upcoming birthday with our families. In case you weren't aware, when we invite just our immediate families, we have 23 guests. It's fun to have everyone we love in one room :).

Lily wanted a cake like these tights and it looked easy enough for me!

She had so much fun with her cousins. Karly was especially excited about blowing out the candles on the cake...but exercised excellent restraint :).

Every time she opened a gift, she'd say, "OHHHHH WOOOOOWWWW! What IS it?" Too funny. This year was the first year she really knew what to look forward to, but I think she altogether forgot that she would get presents. It was very exciting. And all her new toys, puzzles, and games have kept us quite busy the last few days.
