Happy birthday, Lily-girl! We love you so very, very much! You have grown this year in so many ways. You've gotten much taller -- 5 inches! Your feet have grown - size 8 1/2! But most importantly you've grown on the inside :). You are understanding much more about the world around you and continue to ask great questions -- some that make us think hard about our answers!
For your birthday this year, we started a new tradition -- family birthday! You chose to go to the craft studio and paint ceramics (I can't wait to see how your mask turns out!), to Country Kitchen (for your second time that day!), and end the day with a Dairy Queen cake (zebra stripes!). We all had so much fun celebrating your special day with you!
You love to bake and have recently developed the skills to do it all by yourself.
You love to serve - at church, for family, and friends.
You want to be a famous singer someday.
You love music and want to play the piano. And then the guitar. And maybe violin.
You are constantly doing headstands and cartwheels. I'm glad we have a basement!
You love to swim and have taught yourself how to do it well!
You enjoy reading and are very, very good at it.
You are getting better at math and are working hard to learn -- we are so proud of you!
We love you so, sweet girl -- more than you can imagine! We are excited to see what this new year -- your last in single digits! -- brings :).
