I've mentioned that the house isn't quite finished yet, but is liveable. The top three things that we hope to get accomplished over Christmas break (or soon thereafter) are, in descending order: finish the brick on the fireplace, complete the hardwood floor in the living room, and put up the railing along the loft and stairs. Here's a picture of the fireplace progress. This is about 1 day + maybe 6 hours of work. As it gets higher, it's much more work to get up and down the scaffold to make cuts, so Shandy will be recruiting help for at least one day with that :).
