Pretend, for a moment, that you are an un-named 6 year old. You were recently instrumental in placing a significant scrape in the hardwood floor. Do you:
A) Admit to the closest parent that you accidentally scraped up the floor.
B) Put a rug over the scratch and hope no one will notice.
C) Continue on as if nothing happened.
D) Strategically use scotch tape to attach a piece of lettuce to the scratch, thus covering it.
