Two!

Henry-boy, you are TWO! 

It has been such a joy to watch you grow and become your own little person this last year.  You are such a little ball of sunshine and we all love your infectious giggle, your funny little sentences, the way you pump your arms when you run, and your sweet snuggles.

You love every one of us and get so excited when daddy gets home or one of the bigger kids reads to you or plays with you.  

                                                     

You sleep with your blankie and your paci.  Each night, this is our conversation when I tuck you in:  

M: God bless you and keep you and make his face shine on you and give you peace. Daddy loves you, Henry.

H: Daddy luh me..

M: And mama loves you.

H: Mama luh me...

M: And Lily, Mason, and Nora love you.

H: Lily (or May-may or Nora, but only one) luh me...

M: Grandma and Grandpa love you.

H: Gama (or Gampa) luh me...

M: Jesus loves you most!

H: Deesuh luh me!

M: I love you, and I'll see you in the morning shine.

H: (nods with a mouthful of paci) Morning shine.

You are a snuggle bug and still wake up many nights.  This is not  exactly thrilling, but because we know you are our baby, we also treasure those extra snuggles (since only cuddling in "daddy's bed" will do).  

We love you so much and are so glad you are part of our family!
